Quang Ninh Travel Guide

Quang Ninh lies towards the northeastern region of Vietnam. With many tourist attractions (Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay…), Quang Ninh is not only the land for economic development, but also a potential land for tourism. Quang Ninh shares 170km of borderline with China on the north, with Hai Phong on the south, and with Lang Son on the west.
Boasting 250km long coastline, Quang Ninh attracts tourist for many beautiful beaches such as Bai Chay, Titop, Quan Lan, Minh Chau, Ngoc Vung, Tra Co, etc. Besides, there are other beauty spots, among which, Halong Bay is a recognized Natural wonder.
Apart from tourism, the province also possesses a larger source of coal, which has brought about great economic benefit to the land.
Quang Ninh is a highly-concentrated biological diversity with many ecosystems of coral reefs, tropical forests, water-flooded forests featuring thousands of species.
Additionally, the province is also rich in cultural as well as historical values with different ethnic groups: Kinh, Dao, Tay, San Diu, San Chay, Hoa. Apart from these cultural characteristic, Quang Ninh is the land for several historical and cultural sites such as Yen Tu site, Cua Ong temple, Bach Dang River, etc.
